Support for Health Camps

The hospital has organized various general & surgical camp in the hospital and in outreach communities with financial & technical support from local, national and international organizations. Many senior surgeon and consultant doctors have been involved to organize such camps. The major support organizations in health camps are listed below.

Support for Construction & Equipments

In 2020, the Bagmati Province Government (through Manthali Municipality) has supported for purchase and installation of fully automatic bio-chemistry analyzer (MIPSA-CCXL) and 500 mA digital x-ray machine.

A well-equipped and air-conditioned operation theatre has been constructed in the hospital. For this, Manthali Saving & Credit Co-operative Society provided about NRs. 2 million for the set-up and Dhulikhel Hospital provided modern machines worth over Nrs. 5 million.

German Rotary Volunteer Doctors (GRVD) and its associated doctors have donated various modern equipments (purchased in Germany and Nepal) for the hospital. GRVD & German Rotary Club has greatly supported for the development of new dental unit in the hospital and modern dental accessories for the dental unit. The Rotary Club of Banepa Kavre has greatly helped to act as local rotary partner in Nepal.

Under Australian Government Aid, the Australian Embassy in Nepal has granted about Nrs. 4.1 million to equipped modern health equipments such as fully-automated electrolyte analyzers, semi-automated chemistry analyzer, microscope, cardiac monitoring system, digital color Doppler ultrasound machine, x-ray bucky table and computed radiography (CR) system. The hospital has been able to upgrade service standard and quality with the installation these new modern technologies.

The Little Things & Health Exchange, UK has provided Endoscopy, Echocardiography and Tread Mill Test (TMT) modern health equipments worth NPR 4.7 million to the hospital. With this support, the hospital has extended health services.

National Kidney Center, Kathmandu has established a Manthali Kidney Center for which it has provided all required equipments and machines for dialysis service. The cost of physical support is equivalent to Rs. 20 million.

Support for Ambulance and Medical Team Transport Vehicle

The Rotary Club of Biberach Germany has directly purchased and handed-over a TATA Sumo ambulance to the hospital. In addition, The Rotary Club of Wittmund-Esens, Germany with local partner Rotary Club of Dhulikhel directly purchased and handed over a TATA Sumo Jeep to the hospital for medical team transport during outreach health camps.
